Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 17, 2026

Thorsten Halle ("we", "us", "our") built the Echo – Pattern Memory Game app ("Echo", "the App") as a commercial application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information directly. Echo is designed with privacy in mind:

2. Locally Stored Data

Echo stores the following data locally on your device only:

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

3. In-App Purchases

Echo offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade via Apple's App Store. All purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information. Purchase processing is managed through RevenueCat, Inc., which processes transaction receipts to validate purchases. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

4. Game Center

Echo integrates with Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. If you choose to sign in to Game Center, your Game Center display name and scores are managed by Apple according to Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your Apple ID or Game Center account details.

5. Advertising

Echo displays interstitial ads before starting a game. Your first game each day is always ad-free. No ads are shown during gameplay itself.

Ads are served by Google AdMob, which may collect certain device information (such as advertising identifier, device type, and IP address) to serve relevant ads. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.

Pro users enjoy a completely ad-free experience. No ads are shown after upgrading to Pro.

6. Children's Privacy

Echo does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require any personal data to function. The optional Game Center, in-app purchase, and advertising features are managed by Apple's parental controls.

7. Third-Party Services

Echo uses the following third-party services:

8. Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all Echo data by uninstalling the app. No server-side data deletion is necessary as we do not store any data on our servers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
